# Error 131050: Recipient Opted Out of Marketing

> Meta WhatsApp error 131050 — the recipient stopped marketing messages from your business. Do not retry; honour the opt-out in Flowella.

**Error 131050** means the WhatsApp user has chosen to **stop receiving marketing messages** from your business.

This recipient has chosen to stop receiving marketing messages on WhatsApp from your business.* Meta’s guidance: **do not retry** — they will not be received. ## What to do

  <Step title="Do not resend marketing templates">
    Further Marketing sends to this number will fail. Retrying wastes attempts and can harm trust.

  <Step title="Confirm the opt-out in Flowella">
