HubSpot Onboarding
This guide walks you through creating your Flowella account, connecting your Meta (WhatsApp Business) account, and installing the HubSpot integration.
Important: Meta (WhatsApp) requires a payment method on your Business account for conversation charges. You’ll add this during the Meta authentication step. Flowella does not charge or store this payment method; it’s billed by Meta.
Prerequisites
- HubSpot: Super Admin (or permission to install marketplace apps and manage integrations/workflows).
- Meta / Facebook Business: Admin access to your Business Manager and a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). If you don’t have one, you’ll create it during setup.
- Payment Method: You must provide a payment method against your Meta account. Currently, Meta accepts Visa or Mastercard.
- Phone Number: Either you can connect an existing mobile or landline (you must be able to receive text/calls to validate the number). Alternatively, you can use a Meta-provided number
Step 1 | Create your Flowella account
- Go to app.flowella.io and click Create account.
- Enter your email and a secure password, then select Create account.

- You’ll land on Welcome to Flowella!. Click Continue Setup to begin the guided onboarding.
Step 3 | Connect your Meta (WhatsApp Business) account

Step 3a | Connect your Meta (WhatsApp Business) account
You’ll see a sequence of Facebook screens:

Step 3b | Connect your Meta (WhatsApp Business) account
You’ll reach “You’re now ready to chat with people on WhatsApp”.

This payment method is managed by Meta (not Flowella).
-
Without a payment method, business‑initiated messaging may be limited or blocked.
-
You can edit billing later in Meta Business Manager → WhatsApp → Billing.
Tip: If your display name is pending review, you can still proceed; approval typically occurs in the background. Messaging limits are expanded as your account warms up.
Step 4 | Connect HubSpot
You’ll see HubSpot’s OAuth flow:
-
OAuth Bridge → Click Sign in to your HubSpot account (or create a new account).
Alt: HubSpot bridge page with sign‑in and create buttons. -
Choose an account (portal) → Select the correct HubSpot portal and click Choose Account.
Alt: HubSpot account picker listing portals (e.g., Discover Digital). -
Grant permissions → Review scopes requested by Flowella and click Connect app.
